I am a small business and I take a limited amount of work throughout the year. Prime wedding season does book up fairly fast. For wedding cakes 6-9 months in advance is always highly recommended and there’s no guarantee the date will be available. I will only book a total of 2 weddings in one weekend. I enjoy dedicating the time to focus on all the details these cakes deserve.
For large custom orders 6 to 8 weeks is preferred. Less than 4 weeks notice is rarely possible but I will do my best to accommodate you.
Cupcakes/Celebration/Standard Birthday Cakes: 1 week minimum to ensure ingredients and supplies are on hand.
Every effort is made to serve those inquiring and looking to place an order. But no dates are guaranteed no matter how far in advance the order is placed.
On average there should be enough wedding cake for 50% of your guests. That doesn't mean you'll end up with a teeny tiny cake. We would incorporate fake tiers to get the overall desired look you want. You'll save money and you'll spare yourselves from watching your cake get tossed in the garbage at the end of the night. There’s just no way to save sliced plated cake servings unfortunately. Depending on the amount of food you're serving throughout the reception and whether you're having a plated dessert, late night sweet table or even a candy buffet – recommendations for the amount of wedding cake tend to sit between 35% and 75%. There's many factors to take into consideration and we'll discuss them all at our complimentary tasting and consultation.
Yes, I offer one, one hour, complimentary consultation and tasting prior to booking any wedding cake orders. This service is of no obligation and it is offered to the couple. If your significant other is unable to attend you are more than welcome to bring a guest to join you. Kindly leave pets and children in someone’s care at home.
Yes, there's a $50 non refundable deposit for all orders between $100 and $200.
Deposits are an exchange and an agreement to work together and the order would be placed in my work calendar. I would be turning away other potential business to work for you. Supplies also need to be purchased ahead of time to fulfill orders. Any sugar work that is required for the design of your cake would be started in advance in order for it to set and fully harden.
$100 non refundable deposit is required for all wedding cake orders and any other custom order over $200.
For orders that require a full weekend to be secured for a specific order for one client - the deposit would be a percentage of the order total.

Wedding and Custom cakes are priced per serving. The cost per serving is based on three key components:
Standard Birthday Cake pricing: There are set prices available based on size of cake and flavour selected. Greetings/Messages applied to the cakes surface with coloured icing are free of charge.
The cost per cupcake can increase if you are wanting to add a design to the surface and/or requesting a cream or ganache filled center etc.
Special Packaging available for regular sized cupcakes: Clear 4"X4"X4" boxes w/cardboard cupcake inserts to hold the cake in place inside the box are available at a cost of $1.50 + tax.
Custom cookie cutter cookies will vary in cost by the design and size. There's an added cost of $1.00 if you would like them in individual clear bags and tied with a ribbon bow.
Yes. I highly recommend you request a delivery for all wedding cakes of 3 tiers or more and for all tall or large 3D custom cake orders.
The delivery charge is based on the distance of the location from the workspace in Georgetown. Within the GTA the range can vary between $25 to $75, given the size of the cake, the time and date of travel, the approx time I need to set aside to travel to and from the destination, how elaborate the set up is and cost to cover gas.
Yes, deliveries outside of the GTA are possible as well. Please contact me with an address/location for a proper quote.

The cupcake stands that belong to Andy’s Cakes are available for my clients who have placed orders only. There’s a $25 fee which covers the cleaning and sanitizing of the stand after use. There would be a deposit for the use of the stand as well and that would be returned to the client upon the safe return of the stand.
There are no cake stands available to clients. All venues require all décor from the event to vacate the premise once the celebration is over. Most weddings end around 1:00am and there’s never been a desire to leave my cozy bed and return to the venue at that hour to collect a cake stand.
I can direct you to companies that rent them out if that’s a desired look for your cake table.
Deposits can be made in cash, personal cheque, or email money transfer through your online banking. Once payment is received your order will be booked in my work calendar.
Final Payment when due can be made in cash, you can mail or hand in a post dated cheque (dated 10 business days in advance to the event date), or you may send an email money transfer.
I do not accept cash payment on site at a venue at the time of delivery. It’s proven to be difficult to coordinate timing to meet up as the host of the party is often being pulled in many different directions on the date of the event. If the delivery is to a home address – payment in cash on site is not a problem as someone needs to be home at the time to receive the delivery.
Food allergies are never to be taken lightly. Coming from a family with food allergies - I'm very aware of how serious they can be. My kitchen is a nut friendly environment. My kitchen is not Dairy-free, Egg-free or Gluten-free. If there's an allergy concern I cannot give you any guarantees but I can ensure you that I will take every precaution to avoid cross contamination by not using any ingredients with the disclaimer 'may contain...' simultaneously and to thoroughly sanitize my work area and stainless steel work tables between orders. My Gluten-Free baking would be done first in the morning before regular flour is circulated in the air.
